Photo Critique SummarySubject of photo 10 Composition & Perspective 8 Focus 10 Use of camera, exposure & speed 10 Color & Lighting 10 Depth of field 10 General impression 10 Overall Rating 9.7 GuruShots ProSubject of photo:10 Cute, funny, love it! Composition & Perspective:8 This is the only aspect of the image that you could improve. The perspective is fine and the black space you left on top works very well. However, the image would look complete and easier on the eyes if you left a little room on the left right and bottom to make it look framed. Focus:10 Fine. Use of camera, exposure & speed:10 Fine as far as I can tell. Color & Lighting:10 Spot on. Depth of field:10 Spot on. General impression:10 Hey Jen, I really enjoyed your image! Although I usually prefer spontaneous images (especially when it come to portraits) I love the imagination you put into this, the way the babe looks completely dozed off and the downright cuteness of the whole thing! If it is your kid, then you've managed to take a cute and original baby portrait and if it's not your kid then you've managed to give her (I'm guessing it's a girl) parents a priceless image of their daughter. Well done you! How to improve your photo1. Watch your frame. Especially when the background is completely monochrome and contrasted to your subject, in many instances (just like this one) it will work as a frame enhancing your image. 2. Let your imagination run riot! Something you're already doing and should continue to do. 3. Keep shooting! Get feedback on your photos from Pro Chris Contorinis | ||
