Photo Critique SummarySubject of photo 8 Composition & Perspective 6 Focus 6 Use of camera, exposure & speed 6 Color & Lighting 6 Depth of field 6 General impression 5 Overall Rating 6.1 GuruShots ProSubject of photo:8 Kids are always a good subject Composition & Perspective:6 The image is too static and a lower angle would be better. There is a distracting protrusion coming out of the ear on the right. Focus:6 I do not see the sharpness in the eyes Use of camera, exposure & speed:6 It looks like a snapshot with no camera knowlwdge or manipulation. Color & Lighting:6 Color isn't bad but the lighting is too flat Depth of field:6 The background should be softer and the subject should be sharper to bring more attention to the subject. General impression:5 As I stated this is no more than a snapshot How to improve your photo1. Lower your camera angle 2. If you want a horizontal composition, place your subject off center and position them to be looking into the image and not away 3. Look for some directioonal lighting.
