My nephew asked me to come to the hospital to take a picture of his new baby girl. I didn't want her to look like she was in the hospital, so I gathered up a few things to help with that. I was 7 hours from my home so I had to make due.

Composition & Perspective:10 Spot on. The only thing I would change is maybe crop a little off the bottom because the excess white pulls focus. Focus:10 Spot on. Use of camera, exposure & speed:10 Spot on. Color & Lighting:10 Perfect and the b&w was a very good choice. Depth of field:10 Spot on. General impression:10 Hey again Charlotte. Well done! What a beautiful moment and what a great capture. Keep it up! How to improve your photo1. Balance your image. Especially in b&w where the contrast is often very apparent, if you have an overpowering element (like the white of the blanket) maybe try and make it less emphatic by cropping. 2. If you have a spot that has been burnt and pulls unnecessary focus (again the white of the blanket) don't be afraid to give it a once over in photoshop. 3. Keep shooting!!!
