Photo Critique SummarySubject of photo 8 Composition & Perspective 6 Focus 4 Use of camera, exposure & speed 7 Color & Lighting 7 Depth of field 6 General impression 7 Overall Rating 6.4 GuruShots ProSubject of photo:8 Kids are always great subjects. Composition & Perspective:6 The composition is a little static for the emotion you are trying to convey. Focus:4 In your description you are talking about the expression on the boy facing yet he is out of focus. Use of camera, exposure & speed:7 You have the tools to get the shot. Color & Lighting:7 I l ike the lighting and the direction that it is coming from Depth of field:6 The facing subject should be the one in focus. General impression:7 I do still like the image. How to improve your photo1. Try and leave more space around an image like this and place the subjects in a lower corner area, in this case the right side to draw your attention to the facing subject. 2. It seems the camera was a little tilted making the subjects look as if they are leaning slightly, try and watch the tilt. 3. Change youe angle of view slightly to show slightly more separation between the subjects. Get feedback on your photos from Pro Mike Spiegel, CPP, Cr.Photog. | ||
