Started my photography back in 1976 and since then I never looked back. I have worked in many labs including for Steve Wynn at the Mirage Resorts and Casino and since then I am currently in Central California in the City of Visalia and work at a local camera shop teaching and shooting. I currently run my own business as well Alvarezphotography and shoot as a stringer for the Gannett News Service. I currently teach as well as shoot almost anything. I like to try to push the limits when I shoot

When I shoot something like this I try to fine an insect to give a little more meaning or maybe a little spray bottle of water to wet it down.

Considering this is from a Point and Shoot camera I am impressed it's time to get into Macro Photography

Great first impression but I always say lots of shooting makes a great picture. Think out the box.

As being a news photographer and looking for a moment shot. This shot makes the bunch. It lacks background which would have made it a little more stunning.

Bonita, I took this job in hopes to give advice. The image is good but if you want to get into this field you need to upgrade your camera gear.
