Then in 2001 I gave up the staff position, moved back home to Los Angeles and went freelance. Since then, I've been successfully freelancing, working for prominent clients such as New York Times, Los Angeles Times and many others. In the last several years, my freelance career has expanded to include corporate and private portraiture and events as well as set stills for various TV shows. It's a fantastic life and I'm lucky I get to do what I love for a living and never tire of it.
