My life completely revolves around the ocean and I am happiest when underwater with my cameras. From our home in San Diego, California, I work full time as an underwater photographer, writing and shooting for dive magazines, licensing images to clients of all types and sizes, teaching new photographers and leading underwater photography trips all over the world.I took my first underwater image on film with a Nikonos camera back in 1980 and have been deeply involved with underwater photography and the oceans ever since. I began working full time as an underwater photographer in 2000 and never looked back.

Overall good shot. Difficult to capture and difficult to do zoomed at 300mm hand held. Well done Melissa.

Good shot, hard to do with this camera. Good use of what you had. Angle around a little more to get "the face" of the ladybug next time.

A very difficult shot to get, especially with a point n shoot and fast moving subject. Well done!
